Microdentistry

We can now discover and restore tiny cavities early with the use of a new diagnostic tool. The DIAGNOdent, a tiny, laser-powered cavity detector can discover very small cavities before they are detectable with X-rays or probing. As a result, fillings are as small as possible and larger, more destructive decay is prevented.

Breath Treatment

We use Oxyfresh, a non-alcohol toothpaste, mouthwash and tongue scraper system that can eliminate bad breath. Most breath problems originate from the tongue or from periodontal disease. Oxyfresh is also used for periodontal treatment because of its antibacterial properties. Alcohol mouthwashes may damage the tooth colored materials.

Periodontal Care

Non-surgical treatment of the gums can optimize gingival health and prevent bone loss. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss due to this shrinking bone, and is linked to heart disease, stroke and other health problems. Bleeding gums, loose teeth and bad breath are important signs of gum disease.
